International Registry of COVID-19-induced Myocarditis, Ischemia, Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE….

Dear Colleagues,

It has been reported that COVID-19 is associated with myocardial injury. SARS-CoV-2 infection may lead to any form of heart disease including myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, pericarditis, arrhythmias and so on. Its fulminant form is often fatal, and early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are indispensable and saves lives. In order to better understand the cardiovascular complications of COVID-19, we have made an International Registry of COVID-19-induced Myocarditis, Ischemia, Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure as a collaborative work of Mayo Clinic and the International Society of Cardiomyopathy, Myocarditis and Heart Failure (ISCMF). We hope that you will participate by filling out this survey for your COVID-19 patients. Please find the survey at this link and fill out a survey for each patient. Thank you.

Please contact DeLisa Fairweather, PhD (Fairweather.DeLisa@mayo.edu ) or Akira Matsumori, MD, PhD (amat@kuhp.kyoto-u.ac.jp) if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
